Q-jet all the way (at least for me). If you have one and want it performance rebuilt I know a guy who rebuilds em to run strong. _________________ '79 Trans Am 403 Auto Project... still in white primer... ohhhh yeah...

I`m running a Dominator;prolly not the best choice for the street. But it works at the track.
The Q-jet is an awesome carb. There`s a fellow Pontiac racer on another forum running 9.70`s with the modified Q-jet.Not too shabby. _________________ `70 Firebird,10.90@124,Original owner car.

| i have a second gen lol demon all the way great throttle response easier tunibility slightly more expensive but runn much better than a holley or edelbrock and are more consistent due to the billet base and come more user friendly... the big sight glasses are nice too and vac secondaries are tunable without use of springs |
